• Keep the design simple so that the focus of each slide is readily apparent;
• Customize your slides with meaningful and relevant images and other visual information; 
• Limit the amount of text on your slide to ensure that information is accessible; and 
• Be consistent in your slide design (elements such as fonts and color palettes should be chosen carefully).
